The Challenge:

To turn men into brothers.

To develop a band of brothers who are well-balanced, God-honoring, and character-driven leaders. To be the kind of sons of God, husbands to their wives, and fathers to their children that is both inspirational to others and pleasing to God. The two major components of Brotherhood that are used to help orchestrate this change are discipline and accountability. It will require discipline to complete the assignments in the required time and there will be public accountability for those assignments.

The Big Three:

LARGE GROUPS
Once a month gatherings of all members of Brotherhood. A time to hear a word of encouragment and leadership.

SMALL GROUPS
Once a month gatherings with a Brotherhood group leader. A time to review assignments, learn from one another, and prepare for the large group gatherings.

ACCOUNTABILITY PARTNERS
A once a month meeting that is one on one time between a Brotherhood leader and participant. A time for reflection, accountability, and friendship.

Requirements for participation:

  • Be a current Christ Follower

  • Consistently attend 5 Point Church

  • Be at least 18 years of age

  • Read 4 assigned books in assigned timeline

  • Complete 8 writing assignments

  • Meet once a month for a leadership teaching session

  • Meet at least once a month with accountability partner

  • In each monthly meeting, you will be asked in front of the other men to answer for your monthly assignments.

Having an accountability partner is important because it provides a support system that helps individuals stay focused and committed to achieving their goals. Accountability partners can help hold individuals responsible for their actions, provide encouragement and motivation, and help them stay on track when they face obstacles or setbacks.

A brother who holds you accountable does not aim to shame or guilt you into making changes. Rather, their goal is to help you become a better version of yourself by providing honest feedback, support, and guidance. A good accountability partner will help you set realistic goals, establish a plan of action, and check in on your progress regularly.

Going through accountability questions with your leader is an effective way to stay focused and committed to achieving your goals. A good accountability partner can provide the support, motivation, and feedback needed to help you become the best version of yourself.
